This one is called "A Melancholy Moment". It features an Applause by Ovation AE 128 acoustic electric guitar through a Zoom A2 acoustic guitar processor straight into iMovie. Unlike my other videos where I record first into GarageBand this one was done live into iMovie. As a result all the audio effects processing you hear was done live in the Zoom A2. I really like this combo of Applause AE128 and Zoom A2 as they allow you to record quiet acoustic music in an apartment where your neighbors kids may not care that you are recording a quiet acoustic passage. It also allows you to sculpt your dream acoustic tone on a budget without having to have that dream acoustic guitar, mic and environment. Thanks for watching! |

www.gitarownia.pl. Demo by Dariusz "Vawrzyn" Wawrzyniak .MXL USB 007 condenser mic connected directly to PC. No professional soundcard or any sound processors between mic and computer. Natural reverb of the room. Mic was in front of guitar at about XII fret position and 40 cm distance.. This record was only slightly compressed / limited for better performance - to compensate low singal level while playing softly. Even if some riff's sounds similar to some song You might know... it's just an improvisation. |
